Is Home Care for you?

Are you not exactly sure what your loved one needs help with?

Help in the home comes in various forms, respite care for the family caregiver, house hold help, bathing assistance, transportation or companionship. ComForcare provides non-medical care in the home to elderly, new moms, and those recovering from an illness. Our caregivers are trained, bonded and insured, many are retired hospital workers or Certified Nursing Assistants or Certified Caregivers.

Some of the areas we provide help in are:

  • Companionship, arranging appointments, help with walking, letter writing answering the phone, reading, playing cards or games, help with crafts or help with pets, and plants. We can help with entertaining.
  • We can assist with Alzheimer’s and Dementia clients as well as with stroke recovery.
  • Meal preparation, shopping taking out the trash, washing the dishes and medication reminders. We can also pick up prescriptions.
  • We also provide help with a shower or bath, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
  • Light housekeeping, dusting, and laundry, ironing, making the bed and vacuuming.
  • Home Care can also provide assistance with transportation, escorts to doctors and visiting friends. We can assist with planning travel and also provide companionship on long distance travel.
  • Often we can assist with hospice clients and give respite care to the family caregiver. Just a few hours of respite care can refresh the family caregivers.
  • We can also provide one on one private duty in the hospital or nursing home.
  • Also we provide ADT Companion Services, call for help with just a push of a button.
